# Connect your tools to RunBridge AI

> Configure RunBridge AI in Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Gemini CLI, Cline, and Continue.

Use RunBridge AI with the coding tools and agents you already use. Each guide
shows the tool's supported custom-provider settings, the correct API base URL,
and how to select a compatible model.

Before you start, [create an API key](/overview/quick-start) and choose a model
from the [Models page](/overview/models). Choose a model that supports the
streaming and tool-calling features your tool needs.

## Choose the right base URL

Use the URL in the guide for your tool. SDKs append different operation paths,
so an API origin and a URL ending in `/v1` are not interchangeable.

| Tools | Base URL | Protocol |
| - | - | - |
| Codex | `https://api.runbridge.ai/v1` | Responses |
| OpenCode, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Cline, Continue | `https://api.runbridge.ai/v1` | Chat Completions |
| Claude Code | `https://api.runbridge.ai` | Anthropic Messages |
| Gemini CLI | `https://api.runbridge.ai` | Gemini |

Keep API keys in the tool's credential store or environment. Merge example
settings into an existing configuration instead of replacing unrelated settings.
